Mary Kay – Denva Simpson
Mary Kay Ash set up her own brand Mary Kay cosmetics business in 1963. She struggled to succeed as a female sales person. She finally quit at executive level, when a male collegue she had recruited & trained was promoted & became her boss. Promotion rightfully her denied her simply because she was a woman. So she retired & decided to write a book about her experiences.
However she quickly realized that she had a blue print for a perfect company that would enpower women to start their own business with low start up cost, selling quality skin care & makeup.
Today Mary Kay is a world wide company in over 50 countries. Consultants can work flexible hours, in competition with no one else except themselves.
